| Overland Live:
About
Overland Live
is a joint project supported by The Africa Overland Network and the
Expedition Portal.
This website is enabled thanks to many
overland websites providing RSS feeds. As a result, the very
latest independent blog updates, videos, photos, twitter and forums
are displayed in realtime.
Additional Reading: Take a look at the
following page if you are still interested in reading
more overland content.
Adding an RSS feed
to your website:
Content from your website can automatically be updated via RSS
(if using a Blogger or Wordpress site).
If your site is an independent site, then there are a few options to
create the actual feed. The feed needs to be created using your page
title, publish date and main body. This is kept as an XML
file.
Contact me if you require any additional
information, or would like someone to create the feed for you.
Once your RSS feed is
created (XML Format), you will need to publish your RSS feed. I am using
the Google FeedBurner service which is a free service and will scan
your updates automatically. This feed can then be linked
direct into Google Reader, MS Outlook or any other program.

BIO:
I have had an interest in overlanding from the minute I got my
drivers licence. I dreamt that one day I would complete a
Trans-Africa trip, drive an old expedition equipped Land Rover and
have the freedom to explore the back roads. Fortunately, I
have had the opportunity to complete Southern Africa in a 1968
Series II Land Rover and a full Trans-Africa, via West Africa, in a
1991 Defender 110.
My next trip will
be in a small truck - maybe Africa again, or The Americas. My
personal websites are listed here:
